TORQ Training: Opportunities Overview

General Overview

  • Opportunities is located on the left sidebar of TORQ.

  • This section is the core workflow area of TORQ.

  • Jobs move left to right through columns representing different stages in the process.

  • Each column may vary over time depending on updates or changes in your workflow.

Column Breakdown (Workflow Stages)

  • New Lead

    • Entry point for new jobs or customer inquiries.

  • To Quote

    • Jobs waiting on a quote to be created.

  • Quote Sent

    • Quotes have been sent to the customer; awaiting response.

  • Design

    • Approved jobs are dragged here manually.

    • Designers monitor this column to start/continue design work.

  • Waiting on Materials

    • Jobs paused due to materials being ordered.

    • Used as a “holding” area until supplies arrive.

  • Output for Production

    • Managed by the Production Manager.

    • Jobs here are design-ready and stored on the company drive, waiting for print prep.

  • Currently Printing

    • Monitored by the printer operator.

    • Contains jobs being printed on vinyl printers.

  • Flatbed Printing

    • Specific to jobs needing flatbed printing.

  • Installation

    • For wrap installers or sign installers.

    • Jobs here are ready to be physically installed.

  • Invoice

    • Jobs that are fully completed and ready to be invoiced.

    • Criteria: job must be installed, wrapped, or placed on a shelf—fully finished.

  • Complete

    • Managed by the bookkeeper/secretary.

    • Jobs moved here only after invoicing is done.

Key Notes

  • Each person is responsible for their respective column.

  • Jobs should only move forward when the current stage is 100% complete.

  • The flow is visual and linear, helping everyone know the job’s exact status.
